wenn es einen preis für die bescheuertste coverversion geben würde, dieser song wäre auf jeden fall ein brandheißer anwärter:
jedesmal, wenn ich ihn mir anhöre, denke ich mir: hmmm, was haben sich Jutta Gusenburger und Norbert Maria Berger hier gedacht? mein tipp: nicht viel. und die produzenten? wahrscheinlich folgendes: hey, da gibt’s diese neue rockband (Black Sabbath), die haben einen erfolgreichen song (Paranoid), lass uns den mal auf deutsch machen. aber warum gerade mit cindy & bert?! nun, man muss sich damit abfinden, dass es fragen gibt, die wohl nie beantwortet werden können.

der song erschien ursprünglich 1971 als b-seite der single „holly holy“ — besagte a-seite ist übrigens ebenfalls eine coverversion, und zwar von einem neil diamond-weihnachtssong. ich kenne den song von Bear Family’s erstem Teil seiner serie Pop in Germany, die dem interessierten publikum deutsche schlager-versionen englischer hits um die ohren haut. grauenhaft schön! wenn auch Cindy & Bert alles toppen, was ich in dieser hinsicht kenne…
auf youtube gibt’s übrigens ein video von dem song aus dem deutschen fernsehen, welches die beklopptheit noch (fast) überbietet. der hund von baskerville erweist sich als niedlich gähnendes schoßhündchen, cindy & bert stehen wie bekifft herum, während lustig gekleidete leute gefilmt werden, die, wenn mich nicht alles täuscht, über einander ablästern (1:30)… bizarro total.
ps. apropos schlechte cover-versionen, hier nochmal der hinweis auf shit-fis schöne liste „the worst cover songs ever„.

Also das siehst Du etwas sehr negativ. Ich finde die Coverversion doch recht gelungen, sie kommt immer noch recht rockig rüber und hat mit den stark nach Deep Purple klingenden Keybords im Cover eines Songs von Black Sabbath sogar noch ne originelle eigenständige Note. Und den vor sich hin gähnenden Pekinesen im Fernsehauftritt als monströsen Hund von Baskerville auszugeben, dass ist echte Ironie, hätte ich den beiden gar nicht zugetraut :)
Mein Vorschlag für das schlechteste Cover geht an Karel Gott: „Rot und schwarz“ (Rolling Stones – Paint it Black). Das ist wirklich mies
stimmt wohl, mein artikel kommt recht sarkastisch rüber. tatsächlich liebe ich diese coverversion — aber auch und vor allem aufgrund ihrer absurdität.
„rot und schwarz“ ist natürlich auch ein highlight… aber es gibt da noch einige perlen auf der „Pop in Germany“. ich hoffe, ich finde dermaleinst wieder mehr zeit zum posten…

Wer ist denn die obergeile Band die da abrockt? Jean-Jaques Kravetz an den Keys? Und wer fetzt das Gitarrensolo??
Also ich bin echt auf der Suche danach wer das eingespielt hat. Verglichen mit dem „Krautrock“ von anno ’70 ist das doch hervorragend!!

I also asked for a specific medal count for a specific country and got a history of when they first started to compete in the Olympics. I asked for a medal count for 2018, as of today,
not a history of that country.

"Immer wieder sonntags" war der größte Erfolg von Cindy & Bert, die beiden galten als Traumduo des deutschen Schlagers. Nun ist Norbert Berger an einer Lungenentzündung gestorben. Er wurde 66 Jahre alt.
Düsseldorf - Die siebziger Jahre waren ihre erfolgreichste Zeit: Mindestens zehn Mal pro Monat standen die Schlagersänger Jutta Gusenburger und Norbert Berger gemeinsam auf der Bühne, sie gehörten zu den gefragtesten Schlager-Stars in Deutschland. "Immer wieder sonntags" brachte 1973 den endgültigen Durchbruch für Cindy & Bert.
1967 heirateten die beiden, Sohn Sascha kam 1976 auf die Welt, er schrieb den Titelsong für die zweiten Staffel "Big Brother". Die Ehe hielt 21 Jahre. Acht Monate nach der Scheidung 1988 gaben Cindy & Bert ihr Abschiedskonzert.
Erst Mitte der neunziger Jahre konnte Moderator Dieter Thomas Heck die beiden dazu überreden, wieder zusammen auf die Bühne zu gehen. Sie traten daraufhin bei Schlager-Hitparaden und Volksmusik-Galas auf. "Wir können jedes Publikum bedienen", sagte Norbert Berger 1996 in einem Interview mit der "Süddeutschen Zeitung". Sie würden schließlich auch "harte Titel" spielen, zum Beispiel "Blowin' in the Wind" von Bob Dylan, "aber in unserer Version, ganz, ganz hart auf Rock".
In den vergangenen Jahren arbeitete der Saarländer Norbert Berger vor allem als Musikverleger, Texter und Komponist, er lebte mit seiner zweiten Ehefrau Milly in Düsseldorf. Wie sein Management nun mitteilte, ist er bereits am vergangenen Samstag in einer Düsseldorfer Klinik an einer Lungenentzündung gestorben.

Die Schallplatte und das Cover ist wie neuwertig oder wirklich neu
Wenig Gebrauchsspuren, geringfügige Verschlechterung der Tonqualität.
Das Cover ist geringfügig abgenutzt.
Kleine Kratzer bzw. leichtes Rauschen können vorkommen.
Das Cover kann Einrisse haben, ist aber noch brauchbar.
Die Platte hat an Qualität verloren. Hat starke Kratzer.
Das Cover zeigt Beschädigungen.
Die Schallplatte ist gerade noch abspielbar, allerdings mit sehr starken Qualitätseinbußen. Praktisch nur noch Archivierungswert. Das Cover ist sehr stark beschädigt.
Bei dieser Qualitätsstufe beginnen die schlechten Platten. Sie sind überdurchschnittlich abgespielt. Kratzer und Grundrauschen sind deutlich hörbar. Das Cover dieser Qualität ist stark beschädigt, oft eingerissen oder stark verschmutzt.

Die bekannteste und beliebteste Sherlock Holmes Geschichte spielt in der englischen Region Dartmoor. Der alte Sir Charles Baskerville wird auf seinem Landsitz, Baskerville Hall, tot aufgefunden. Der letzte Гјberlebende Hinterbliebende von Sir Charles, Sir Henry, reist aus Kanada an und macht sich Sorgen um sein Leben. So wendet sich Doktor Mortimer, der Testamentsvollstrecker des Toten, an Sherlock Holmes und Watson.
Am Tatort wurde der FuГџabdruck eines riesigen Hundes gefunden, der mГ¶glicherweise auf Sir Charles gehetzt wurde. Diese geheimnisvolle Todesursache passt in eine Reihe rГ¤tselhafter TodesfГ¤lle, die die Familie der Baskervilles seit Generationen heimsucht. Watson reist auf Holmes‘ Anweisung nach Baskerville Hall und erfГ¤hrt fort, dass sich im den Landsitz umgebenden Moor ein entlaufener StrГ¤fling herumtreiben soll. AuГџerdem wurde dort ein verdГ¤chtiger Naturforscher namens Stapleton gesehen.

Sherlock Holmes begeistert durch seinen meisterhaften Verstand und seine Schrulligkeit seit Generationen Leser jeden Alters. Auch der Hund von Baskerville ist spannend geschrieben und besticht durch seine düstere Atmosphäre und die skurrile Beziehung zwischen dem Erzähler, Dr. Watson, und Sherlock Holmes selbst. Wer Kriminalgeschichten mag, die durch anspruchsvolle Sprache und Kombinationsgabe anstelle von blutrünstiger Action überzeugen, kommt an Sherlock Holmes einfach nicht vorbei!

Put on the computer what the public asks for, not everything about the US.
I asked for a total medal count. I have been looking for 20 minutes and still cannot find it.
I also asked for a specific medal count for a specific country and got a history of when they first started to compete in the Olympics. I asked for a medal count for 2018, as of today,
not a history of that country.
