Auch nicht alles Gold was glдnzt.

Erhдltlich in GroЯer Anzahl in allen Tierheimen Deutschlands !

Dein Vater richtet beim SVЦ?

Deshalb ьbe ich halt so im Alltag. Denn wenn sie.

Na toll! Das kommt davon wenn man mal ґnem Hund was Gutes tun will! Okay, Leine geholt.

Partizipialattribute und Relativsätze Umformung

In German, a way to more accurately describe a noun is with a Relativsatz or a Partizipialattribute. Both of this forms can replace the other, meaning that when you use a Relativsatz, you can instead use a Partizipialattribute and the other way around.

In the DSH Prüfung, you will have to be able to change one of this grammatical structures (Relativsatz or Partizipialattribute) to the other, with changing the meaning of the sentence as little as possible.

In this post, you will learn about this grammatical structures; how to change the sentence from one form to another, see some examples, get some recommendations on what to pay close attention and where to practice. Let’s get started!

Explanation

We will first deal with Relativsätze, since they are more common; then with Partizipialattribute; and then how to change from one form to another.

Relativsätze

Relative Clauses (or Relativsätze) allow us to more accurately describe people and things. For example:

Let’s use the above sentence to analyze some aspects of the relative clause that you should be aware of.

  • The position of the relative clause is right after the noun you are trying to describe. In this case, right after Man.
    • The relative clause is surrounded by comas.
  • The verb in the relative clause goes at the end of the relative clause. In this case, “ hat ” goes at the end.
  • The relative pronoun should correspond to the gender of the noun and to the case of the relative clause. In this case “der”, because it is “der Mann”, and in nominative because it is the subject of the relative clause.

The last point may be a bit confusing, so let me clarify it. For this, I’ll use the following example:

See how the relative pronoun used here is “den” and not “der”. The relative pronoun has to correspond to the case of the relative clause and to the gender of the noun it is describing.

This two following cases are not so common and you will probably not see them in the DSH Prüfung: relative clauses with prepositions and genitive relative pronouns.

In a relative clause with preposition, the preposition goes before the relative pronoun, who of course has the case of the clause, which will be dictated by the preposition. For example:

The equivalent of genitive relative pronouns in English is “whose” or “of whose”. The genitive relative pronoun of masculine and neutral nouns is “dessen” and the genitive relative pronoun of female and plural nouns is “deren“. For example:

Partizipialattribute

Extended Modifiers (or Partizipialattribute) are similar to what we have in English, when we say something like “the running dog”. Using the endings -ing or -ed, we can build a similar grammatical structure.

But in German, as such a complete language, that it is, you can go a lot further with this construction. For example, something like: “The 2 kilometers across the city running dog”. We are of course not able to do that and we should rather say: “The dog, that runs 2 kilometers across the city.” In contrast, this is possible in German.

Partizipialattribute belong to the “Linksattribute” which means that they are declined the same as an adjective, and as the name suggests, they come before or left of the noun. For example:

Der 2 Kilometer durch die Stadt rennende Hund.

If we used a undefinite article, the Partizipialattribute “rennende” would decline normally:

Ein 2 Kilometer durch die Stadt rennender Hund.

Extended Modifiers in German are built with the Partizip I or Partizip II. The key to understanding which Partizip to use, is also conveniently the key to know how to go from Partizipialattribute to Relativsätze.

Partizip I & II

A quick review on participles. Partizip II (PII) is the one we are most familiar with, since it is the one we use for present perfect. The Partizip II of weak verbs are built with the prefix “-ge” and the “-t” ending (ge…t). For example “gemacht” or “gedacht” While strong verbs have the the prefix “-ge” and the “-en” ending (ge…en). For example gegesen or gesehen. The Partizip I (PI) is formed with the infinitive and the “-d” ending. For example “sehend “or “essend”.

To construct attributes out of participles, we put them in front of the noun and decline them as normally.

There is a difference between:

The close door, implies that the door is closed… While the closing door, implies that the door is the one doing the action. This is actually not that far from how it works in German. But there are quite a few other factors to take into consideration. So how does one actually I decide which participle to use? Well the rules are relatively simple.

Partizip I oder II?

  • If the Hauptsatz is in present, the Nebensatz is in present participle.
  • If the Hauptsatz is in present participle, the Nebensatz is in past tense.
  • If the Hauptsatzt is in past tense, the Nebensetz is in Plusquamperfekt.

Gleichzeitig means that the tense of the Hauptsatz and the Nebensatz are the same.

Example 1. Zeitschriften, die montalich erscheinen, werden seltener gekauft. (Relativsätze → Partizipialattribut)

Our first instinct may be to say that we have to use PII, because the sentence is in passive voice. True it is in passive, but we care about how the relative clause is formed. Not the sentence as a whole. “die montalich erscheinen” is in active voice and also in the same tense as the main clause (present). So we know that we have to use PI:

Monatliche erscheinende Zeitschriften werden seltener gekauft

Example 2.

First we identify the relative clause and we realize that it is in passive. So we know right away that the extended modifier uses PII:

Remember that ewartete, has to be properly declined as any other adjective would do.

Example 3.

First we identify the relative clause. What is the grammatical structure of this sentence? It seems to be in active voice, but with a sein-verb: “wachsen”. This automatically implies PII. We now copy paste “…die auf 1500 Einwohner angewachsen ist…” without the relative pronoun and the verb and using PII (Pass auf! The PII of anwachsen is angewachsen):

This can also happen in the other direction, but the principle is pretty much the same. Only that when you see PII, you are to choose between werden-passive, sein-passive or active with a sein-verb; but this can be decided with the context.

Example 4. Die Häuser haben von Holzsäulen gestützte Terrassen. (Partizipialattribut → Relativsätze)

First we identify the Partizip (I or II). In this case, we have: “gestützte”. Is it I or II? In this case II. To quickly know this, you can ask yourself is the word has a “-d” ending: if you see a d at the ending, it is PI, if not, then it is PII.

So what options do we have for PII? Passive voice or active with a sein-verb in a tense in the past relative to the main clause. The word “von” should give you a clue that we should use passive:

Example 5.

We know from the “-d” ending that the participle of this sentence: “ bestehendes” is PI. What options do we have? Only to make a relative clause in active voice and in the same tense as the main clause. Pass auf! The verb “war” is in past, this implies that also the relative clause has to be in past tense:

Conclusion

Being able to from Partizipialattribut into Relativsätze and vice versa is an essential grammatical skill for the DSH Prüfung. PI is used for the active voice + same tense as the main clause. PII is used for passive voice or active with a sein-verb in a tense in the past relative

I will be honest, there are other forms that I haven’t showed you here. But you shouldn’t worry, since they will for sure not appear in the DSH Prüfung. You can learn more about this forms here. And if you are interested in practicing what you just learnt, I recommend this book.

Viel Spaß beim Lernen!

Violations of Hund's rule in molecules — where to look for them and how to identify them ☆

Violations of Hund's rule are predicted to be found in D4h cyclobutadiene (CBD), D8h cyclooctatetraene (COT), and in non-Kekulé hydrocarbon diradicals that have disjoint NBMOs. In D4h CBD the singlet is calculated to lie below the triplet by −ΔEST = 6.3 kcal mol −1 at the CAS-SDCI + (Q)/6-31G ∗ level of theory. This value is bracketed by the CASSCF and CASPT2N values of, respectively, −ΔEST = 10.6 and 4.0 kcal mol −1 . For D8h COT CASSCF, CASPT2N and MR-(π-SD, σ-S)CI + (Q)/6-31G ∗ calculations give, respectively, −ΔEST = 15.8, 6.7 and 8.5 kcal mol −1 . In both [4n]annulenes the geometry of highest symmetry is the equilibrium geometry of the triplet but the transition state for bond shifting in the singlet. Consequently, the “bond-alternation” vibration, which shortens half the CC bonds and lengthens the other half, has a relatively high frequency in the triplet but an imaginary frequency in the singlet. As a result, zero-point vibrational energy corrections increase −ΔEST by ca. 2 kcal mol −1 in both antiaromatic annulenes. The role of calculations in assigning the electron photodetachment spectrum of COT − and thereby confirming experimentally that D8h COT really does violate Hund's rule is discussed. CASPT2N calculations of UV spectra are shown to be useful for deciding whether the singlet or triplet state is responsible for the UV-Vis spectrum of non-Kekulé hydrocarbon diradicals. Comparison of the spectra calculated for the singlet and the triplet states of 1,2,4,5-tetramethylenebenzene (TMB), 4,5-dimethylenecyclopentane-1,3-diyl (DMCPD) and 2,3-dimethylenecyclohexane1,3-diyl (DMCHD) with those observed indicates that TMB has a singlet ground state but that DMCPD and DMCHD both have triplet ground states.

  • C2 – Hunde over 1 år
  • C-holdet – 1. konkurrencehold man kan deltage i
  • B-holdet – konkurrencehold
  • A-holdet – konkurrencehold
  • E-holdet – Elitekonkurrencehold

Husk at medbringe til første træning:

  • Forsikringspapirer (hundeforsikring)
  • Vaccinationspapirer

Description

There are three varieties of Dachshund: the shorthaired, the wirehaired, and the longhaired. With each of these varieties there are three sizes. (See Height and Weight.) The Dachshund's body is longer than it is tall, muscular with short legs. It has an elongated head and a slight, convex skull that is arched with protruding eyebrows. The muzzle is long. The jaw is robust with non-pendent lips. The teeth should meet in a scissors bite. The almond-shaped eyes are dark red or brown-black. The mobile ears hang long on its cheeks. The body has a strong protruding sternum and a moderately retracted abdomen. The tail is carried in line with its back. The short-haired Dachshund's coat should be shiny, sleek and uniform.

Dachshunds have a wide color variety. They are as follows.

Solid colors are: black, red (from strawberry blond to deep auburn), chocolate (brown), isabella (tan or fawn), cream (blond with no trace of red, from golden blond to platinum (the lighter the better) and blue (gray). In the wirehaired variety, cream is referred to as wheaten.

Bicolor Dachshunds may be black and tan, black and creme, chocolate and tan, chocolate and creme, blue and tan, or blue and creme. In these combinations, the former color is the base color, and the tan or creme appears on the face and points. Sable is a red base coat with a black overlay. In the wirehaired variety, there is also wild boar, unique in that the hair shaft itself is bicolor red and black.

Patterns and tricolors:

Brindle: brindles should be striped over the entire body and may be seen on any of the above colors.

Dapple: the dappling is presented as patches of lighter color on a darker base color. This can result in a tricolored Dachshund. Example: black with tan points and silver dappling. If the dappling occurs in the eye, one or both eyes may be blue. Double dapples only occur when both sire and dam are dappled, and results in adding large areas of white to the dapple pattern. There have been genetic defects attributed to double dapple breeding.

Piebald: piebalds can be bicolored or tricolored. They have a white body with patches of one or two solid colors, as in red on white, or black and tan on white. The patches may range from a few spots to covering over 50 percent of the body. There may be ticking throughout the white areas, or they may be solid white.

In the event of cross breeding patterns, as in dapple to piebald or brindle to piebald, the solid patches display the dapple or brindle pattern. Registry depends on the kennel club the dog is registered with, but in the case of only one pattern being registered, the dog should be registered as piebald.

Temperament

The Dachshund is curious, clever, lively, affectionate, proud, brave and amusing. Devoted to its family, it can be slightly difficult to train and housebreak, but not impossible. Dachshunds travel well. This little dog needs an owner who understands how to be his pack leader or he will take over the house, and begin to try and tell the owner what to do. If the dog is allowed to take over, many behavior problems will arise, such as, but not limited to, guarding furniture, separation anxiety, guarding food, toys or other objects, snapping, biting and obsessive barking. It will become unpredictable with children and adults they do not know. If it gets really bad, it may become unpredictable with its owner. They are usually recommended for older, considerate children, simply because most owners do not display proper pack leadership to small dogs, causing moderate to severe protectiveness, a behavior that can change if the humans start being their pack leader. If they do get the proper leadership, they can get along well with children. This breed has an instinct to dig. They are generally okay with other pets; however, once again, without proper leadership from their humans, they can be jealous, irritable, obstinate and very quick to bite, sometimes refusing to be handled. If you allow your little dog to take over your house, the dog will try his hardest to keep all of his humans in line—a weight which should not be placed on any dog's shoulders, especially one as sweet as a little dog like the Dachshund. These negative traits are not Dachshund traits, they are small dog syndrome traits. Meaning, most owners treat their small dogs like babies, rather than giving them leadership, As well as rules they need to follow along with limits they are, and are not allowed to do, which all dogs instinctually crave. Dachshunds that have human leadership along with a daily pack walk are wonderful family companions with excellent temperaments.

Height, Weight

There are three varieties of Dachshund, the shorthaired, the wirehaired, and the longhaired. According to AKC standard, there are two sizes, Standard and Miniature. Unlike the AKC, Europe also recognizes the Toy variety called a kaninchen, which is the German word for rabbit.

Standard: Height 8 - 11 inches (20 - 27cm); Weight - over 11 pounds (4.9 kg) at the age of 12 months.

Miniature: Height up to 5 - 7 inches (13 - 18 cm); Weight 11 pounds (4.9 kg) or less at the age of 12 months.

Toy: Height up to 12 inches (30 cm); Weight 8 pounds (3.5 kg) at age 12 months.

Note: The unofficial terms such as tweenie, dwarf, toy, teacup or micro-mini Dachshund are not AKC-recognized size variations, however some breeders are using these terms and breeding for a smaller dog. Other unofficial nicknames people have labeled this breed are Wiener Dog, Little Hot Dog, Hotdog Dog and Sausage Dog.

The nickname "tweenie" is often used unofficially when the size falls between the miniature and standard.

Health Problems

Prone to spinal disc problems (Dachshund paralysis), urinary tract problems, heart disease and diabetes. Prone to mast cell tumors. Dachshunds have a tendency to become overweight and lazy. This is a serious health risk, putting added strain on the back.

Living Conditions

Good for apartment living. They are fairly active indoors and will do okay without a yard.

These are active dogs with surprising stamina; they need to be walked daily. They will also enjoy sessions of play in the park or other safe, open areas. Be careful, however, when pedestrians are about because Dachshunds are more likely to be stepped on than more visible dogs. They should be discouraged from jumping, as they are prone to spinal damage.

Life Expectancy

About 12-15 years

Litter Size

About 4 to 8 puppies

Longhaired require daily combing and brushings; wirehaired need professional trimming twice a year, and short-haired require regular rubdown with a damp cloth. This breed is an average shedder.

The Dachshund originated in Germany in the early 1600s. Bred to hunt small game such as badger and rabbit, the Dachshund has shortened legs to hunt and follow these animals to ground inside the burrows where they could fight the prey to the death. "Dachs" is the word for badger. Smaller Dachshunds where bred to hunt hare and stoat. Dachshunds have many "terrier" characteristics. They are versatile and courageous dogs and have been known to take on foxes and otters too. The breed’s population dwindled during World War l, but dogs were imported from Germany to the USA and the gene pool once again increased. The Dachshund was recognized by the AKC in 1885.

MISSING—"This is Buddy, my 14-pound, almost two-year-old silver dapple tweenie Dachshund and on the 16th of April 2010 while we were out of town, some friends were dog-sitting him for us. They took him out for a morning walk; he slipped out of his collar and took off. He is still missing, if you have seen him email me at birdgerd@yahoo.com and title the email Buddy. He was lost in Salmon Creek in Vancouver, WA, but he could be anywhere. It was very strange that he would do this. He has NEVER tried to slip out of his collar in the past; I guess he is just that loyal to us."

He knows hand signals/signs though, so he knows all of the things a hearing dog knows. He's super smart and he has blue eyes, but one is sky blue and the other is 1/2 sky blue and 1/2 REALLY DARK blue. Wherever I am you'll find Bentley right behind me, even in the bathroom. He cries the entire time I take a shower, don't ask me why! lol Bentley is my beautiful boy."

He is a black and tan "Tweenie," (between a standard and mini). He was adopted with his "sister" Dollie. They came from the same home and were put out by their former owners at a garage sale with a sign "Free to a Good Home." We urge support of no-kill shelters and support abolishment of puppy mills!"

"My dog is a dapple mini Dachshund, shown here at 5 months old. Buddy is a very laid back kind of guy because I take him for walks every day, which he really likes. Buddy is so smart; I taught him sit, lie down, roll over, shake, speak, play dead, and circle (that is where he will run in a circle). He also can sit and lie down at a distance. I want to get him his CGC (Canine Good Citizen). It is so funny watching him play with a chocolate Lab that I walk. We have to be careful when they play because of the size difference. Buddy is so submissive around other dogs; he will walk up to another dog and plop down on his back. I have raised him Cesar's Way from day one and I want to be a Dog Whisperer. Buddy is definitely a balanced canine. I have all of the Dog Whisperer seasons on DVD and read all of his books. I am a big fan and my dog has been balanced from day one. I am a dog walker right now and I walk every dog Cesar's Way and so Buddy gets to be in a pack of dogs."

Gretta the Dachshund at 20 months old

Put on the computer what the public asks for, not everything about the US.

I asked for a total medal count. I have been looking for 20 minutes and still cannot find it.

I also asked for a specific medal count for a specific country and got a history of when they first started to compete in the Olympics. I asked for a medal count for 2018, as of today,

not a history of that country.

You don't even accept what I have asked.
