Pitt Cola is a peach-flavored soda, and the most popular soft drink in Gravity Falls. Stan and Dipper Pines are seen frequently drinking it, and the empty cans are seen lying around the Mystery Shack. One of its slogans is: 'It's the pitts!'

Distribution

Pitt Cola appears to be in cans through vending machines, like the one next to the entrance of the Mystery Shack or Ye Royal Discount Putt Hutt, in a two-liter plastic bottle and a one-liter glass bottle. It is also available in a diet version.

Early History

Pitt Cola has been on shelves since Stanley and Stanford were younger. It is seen in a flashback in "A Tale Of Two Stans."

A bottle of Pitt Cola can be seen in the theme song, next to Soos, while the main cast is sitting around the campfire listening to Grunkle Stan tell a scary ghost story.

An advertisement for it appears on the back cover of the magazine Wendy reads in "Tourist Trapped."

Dipper is drinking a can of it right before Mabel asks for his opinion on her wax sculpture idea in "Headhunters." Bats Biker seen later in the episode is also drinking a can of it.

It is more prominently seen being used as a soda fountain/volcano in "The Inconveniencing" in a bottled form.

A Pitt Cola vending machine is seen outside the Mystery Shack gift shop in "Dipper vs. Manliness."

Pitt Cola is among the refreshments at the Mystery Shack party in "Double Dipper." Tyrone accidentally dissolves himself by drinking some.

In "Fight Fighters," Stan is seen drinking some.

In "Little Dipper," an advert for Pitt Cola is seen on a bus.

In "Boss Mabel," the Mystery Shack's Pitt vending machine is seen again.

In "Carpet Diem," Mabel, while in Dipper's body, knocks over some empty Pitt Cola bottles.

In "Boyz Crazy," several cans are seen; some drunk by Stan in preparation for a spit-take, and others shared by him and Dipper after Wendy's break-up with Robbie.

In ''Dreamscaperers,'' a Pitt Cola vending machine is seen outside the Mystery Shack in Stan's mind.

In "Scary-oke," Pitt Cola is among the refreshments at the "Mystery Shack is Back" party.

In "The Golf War," Pacifica drinks a can of Pitt Cola, only to be disgusted by the pit inside, and demands that Sergei gets her another brand.

In "Sock Opera," Bill Cipher "drinks" some while possessing Dipper's body.

In "Northwest Mansion Mystery," Dipper has a can of Pitt Cola as he prepares to watch the Ghost Harassers marathon.

In "Not What He Seems," Stan drinks from a can of Pitt Cola while agonizing over telling Dipper and Mabel his secret.

In "A Tale of Two Stans," Stan is holding a glass Pitt Cola bottle while he and Ford are building the Stan 'O' War.

In "Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons," Pitt Cola is among the food and drink Stan and Mabel prepare for the viewing party of the Duck-tective season finale.

In "The Last Mabelcorn," Dipper and Ford drink some cans of Pitt after Dipper learns of Ford's history with Bill.

In "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future," Stan is holding a can when he talks to Mabel.

In "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls," Stan taps a fork against a Pitt Cola bottle to get everyone's attention.

Appearance

Dipper and Stan drinking many cans.

Pitt Cola packaging is red with a large salmon/pink stripe and the word Pitt on it, in a style that resembles Coca-Cola's logo. Some packaging has what appears to be a smiling peach on it since Pitt Cola is peach flavored. There have also been scenes with orange and purple Pitt Cola, likely orange and grape flavored.

Original Recipe

The formula for Coca-Cola is one of the most jealously guarded trade secrets in the world. Locked in a vault in Atlanta. Supposedly unreplicable. But we think we may have found the original recipe. And to see if the formula actually might be Coke, we made a batch. Or, anyway, we asked the folks at Jones Soda and Sovereign Flavors to whip up some up, to see if it tastes like Coke.

When we first broadcast this show, we had no idea how big a splash it would make. We heard from listeners, got international press coverage, and even made it into Conan O'Brien's monologue.

Coca Cola vs Coca Cola Zero - Sugar Experiment - Science Experiments with Coca-Cola by Home Science

In the experiment, a regular soda was first tested in high heat. Boiling the beverage will take away the water from the regular version. After 20 minutes of stirring and letting the soda boil in the nonstick pan, the sugar found in the product caramelized, leaving a ton of sugar on the pan.

Talking one bottle of the mentioned soda variety, the some thing was done to the soda.

It was also subjected to very high heat until it boiled and the water was gone. quite surprising is the fact that the no sugar soda did not stand up to its name - almost anyway.

There is still a bit of sugar on the pan, but it is so negligible compared to the result of boiling regular soda.

Gesunde Hausgemachte Choco Pops

Gesehen hab ich diese Dinger das erste mal auf dem Blog von Sweet Trolley . und seit dem, schwirren sie mir im Kopf herum. Deshalb hab ich sie letztens, ein wenig abgewandelt, selbst ausprobiert. Ich war begeistert :)

400g Mandelmehl, 40g Kakaopulver, 1 Prise Salz, 1 TL Vanille, 120ml Milch, 1 Ei, 150g Agavendicksaft (oder was euch lieber ist: Honig, Ahornsirup), 80g Mandelbutter

Diese kleinen Dinger sind einfach zu machen und schmecken super :)

Mische alle trockenen Zutaten in einer Schüssel und die anderen in einer zweiten, größeren Schüssel.

Gib nach und nach die trockenen Zutaten zur Milch-Mischung und rühre sie ein. bis du einen dicken Teig erhältst.

Zupf dir ein Stück aus dem Teig und forme ca. 1 cm große Kugeln.

Diese Kugeln kommen auf ein Backblech mit Backpapier und backe sie bei 180°C für 10 Minuten.

Danach nimm das Blech raus, und roll die Kügelchen ein wenig herum.

Erneut 10 Minuten in den Ofen.

Rausnehmen und abkühlen lassen. In eine Schüssel geben und mit Milch nach Wahl genießen!

Fisch Tacos mit buntem Slaw

Das ist ein richties Sommer-Rezept! Bunte und leichte Tacos.

ca. 300g Kabeljau Filet, Motion Cooking Spicy Gonzales, 1 Limette, 1 kleine Handvoll frischen Koriander, 1 Avocado, 6-8 Santa Maria Mini Tortillas, Olivenöl zum braten

Für den bunten Slaw: 1/2 Kopf Rotkraut, 2 Karotten, 1 Jungzwiebel, 3 EL eingelegte Jalapenos, Saft einer Limette, 1 EL Honig, 1/2 TL Salz

Am besten beginnst du mit dem Salat, damit der auch ein wenig ziehen kann.

Dazu nimmst du das Rotkraut und hachelst es fein mit einer Reibe in eine Schüssel.

Das gleiche machst du mit den Karotten.

Die Jungzwiebel wird in dünne Ringe geschnitten. Die Jalapenos ein wenig gehackt und beides kommt gemeinsam mit dem Limettensaft, Honig und Salz in die Schüssel zum Gemüse.

Die Jalapenos sind in einer Essigmarinade eingelegt. Die machen wir uns zu Nutze und geben einen ordentlichen Schuss davon in die Schüssel. So 5-6 EL.

Die Zutaten nun gut unterheben und den Salat mal zur Seite stellen.

Die Avocado halbieren und entkernen.

In Würfel schneiden und mit etwas Limettensaft beträufeln, damit sie uns nicht braun wird.

Jetzt gehts an den Fisch.Dieser wird mit 1 TL Motion Cookin Spicy Gonzales, oder Gewürzmischung nach Wusch, gewürzt und bei mittlerer bis hoher Hitze 1-2 Minuten, je nach Dicke, pro Seite in Olivenöl gebraten.

Kabeljau fällt auch leicht auseinander. Das ist kein Problem, da wir das Filet dann sowieso in Stücke schneiden müssen um es in den Taco zu füllen.

Jetzt nimm dir eine Tortilla, falte sie ein wenig und gib 2-3 EL vom Salat hinein.

Darauf kommen jetzt Filetstücke, Avocadowürfel, frische Korianderblätter und etwas Limettensaft noch obendrauf.

Das wars auch schon. Mahlzeit und lassts euch schmecken!

Die Ergebnisse können sie sich unten ansehen.

Ich denke, die braune Schicht ist deutlich sichtbar.

Die braune Schicht wird dicker.

An den Kanten ist er bereits schwarz. Die braune Schicht bedeckt den Zahn komplett.

Der Zahn ist nicht mehr so weiß, wie vor dem Experiment, und die Kanten sind dunkelbraun gefärbt.

Ich habe ihn getrocknet, das Foto gemacht, und neue Cola über ihn gegossen..

Die braune Schicht bedeckt ihn viel schneller als vorher. An der unteren Seite ist sie stärker als auf der oberen Seite. Es ist nicht sicher,das die braune Schicht von der Cola stammt oder ob hinter der sich gelösten weißen Schicht eine braune befindet.

wir werden es nach dem nächsten Putzen sehen.

Die braune Schicht wird dicker.

Es sieht so aus als ob die Cola unterschiedlichen Einfluss auf die Wurzel und den Zahnschmelz hat. Am Zahnschmelz ist sie weniger und dünner, an der Wurzel ist sie klebriger und härter

Es ist kein großer Unterschied zum Vortag erkennbar. Die braune Schicht sieht etwas dicker aus.

Die braune Schicht wird dicker, besonders an den Kanten der Wurzel aber auch auf dem Zahnschmelz.

Auf den ersten Blick ist der Unterschied zum Vortag nicht groß.

Aber nach dem Putzen kann man sehen das der Zahnschmelz dünner wird und weniger vom Zahn bedeckt. Von den Stellen, die nicht vom Zahnschmelz geschützt waren, konnte ich die braun/schwarze Schicht nicht entfernen, auch nicht mit starkem Putzen.

Die Kanten sind mehr gezackt, an der vergrößerten Stelle, sieht man, das ein "großes" Stück herausgebrochen ist. Wahrscheinlich war das Stück dünner und ist beim Putzen herausgebrochen.

Die ganze Oberfläche der Wurzel, sieht aus wie ein Schwamm. Überall sind kleine Löcher.

Die braune Schicht ist noch dünn. Daher können wir sehen, dass die Cola das meiste vom Zahnschmelz aufgelöst hat.

Bis zu diesem Punkt hat die Cola den Zahnschmelz fast vollständig aufgelöst und die anderen Teile des Zahns, wo kein Zahschmelz mehr ist stark verfärbt.

Dann habe ich den Zahn wieder geputzt, um besser sehen zu können.

Wir können sehen das die Cola den Zahnschmelz nicht stark gefärbt hat, ihn aber weiter aufgelöst hat.

Weil ich gestern auch geputzt habe ist die Schicht noch sehr dünn.

Nach dem Putzen können wir sehen, das der Schmelz, wo er noch da ist, durchsichtig ist.

An der Wurzel sind Stellen die veräzt aussehen.

Von jetzt an werde ich den Zahn jeden Tag putzen, weil die dünne braune Schicht es schwieriger macht, Veränderungen zu sehen.

Die Wurzel wird immer gezackter und der Zahnschmelz ist fast vollständig verschwunden, nur noch ein kleines Stück an der linken unteren Ecke.

Kein Unterschied zu gestern, auch der Zahnschmelz ist nicht weniger geworden.

Keine großen Veränderungen.

Der Zahschmelz ist jetzt verschwunden und der ganze Zahn ist braun gefärbt.

Nach dem 16. Tag sah der Zahn so aus. Ich habe ihn abgespült, geputzt und getrocknet.

Der Zahn ist dunkler geworden. Die Kanten sind inzwischen schwarz und die Farbe lässt sich durch putzen nicht mehr entfernen.

Die Veränderungen sind minimal. Die gezackten Ecken der Wurzel sind verschwunden. Ich kann nicht sagen ob sie von der Cola aufgelöst wurden oder ob ich sie beim Putzen abgebrochen habe.

Nach dem 26. Tag sah der Zahn so aus. Ich habe ihn abgespült, geputzt und getrocknet.

Es ist so dunkel das ich mehr Licht brauche um die Unterschiede sichtbar zu machen. Es gibt keine große Veränderung. Mir ist aufgefallen das ein Stück fehlt. Es ist besser sichtbar auf dem vergrößerten Bild.

Es gibt keine deutliche Veränderung. Vielleicht ist die Beschädigung größer geworden, aber das kann auch ein Lichteffekt sein. Die Oberfläche sieht jetzt glatter aus als in der zweiten Woche, da wirkte sie eher rau.

Beim putzen ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Zahn merkwürdig weich ist.

Ich kann nicht sagen ab welchem Tag man den Zahn hätte durchbohren können, aber mit einem gesunden Zahn ist das sicherlich nicht möglich.

Das ist das letzte Mal, dass ich den Zahn putze. Ich war überrascht, das die Zeichen des Härtetests, fast verschwunden waren. Die Falten auf der Wurzel, nach dem Falten sind ganz verschwunden Und das Loch war nur sehr schwer zu finden

Das ist der Querschnitt des größeren Stücks,

Ich finde, das ist ein sehr guter Querschnitt von einem Zahn, trotz der unnatürlichen Farbe. Vielleicht kann ein Zahnarzt mehr daraus machen.

Unten können wir sehen das die Oberfläche des Schnitts sehr glatt ist. Das zeigt das der Zahn an dieser Stelle sehr weich ist.

Ich würde es fördern, wenn Gäste dieser Seite, dieses Experiment auch mit anderen Getränken (Pepsi, fruit juice, and other drinks) durchführen, um deren Einfluss auf Zähne zu sehen. Es wäre interessant die Ergebnisse zu vergleichen

Ш Die Geschichte:

v Am 8. Mai 1886 erfindet der Apotheker in Atlanta John S. Pemberton [1] einen dunkelbraunen, dickflьssigen Sirup gegen Mьdigkeit, Schwдche und Kopfschmerzen. Dieser Sirup wird zufдllig von einem Mitarbeiter mit Wasser verdьnnt und so wird es zu Cola. Etwas spдter mischte ein Mitarbeiter dieses Getrдnk mit Sodawasser und so kam auch noch eine Erfrischende Wirkung hinzu.

Frank M. Robinson [2] , Pembertons Geschдftspartner, erfand den Namen Coca-Cola aus den Inhaltsstoffen: Kokablдtter und Kolanьsse. Er erfand auch den berьhmten und kaum unverдnderten Schriftzug (siehe Ьberschrift).

Im 1. Jahr wurden in Atlanta 25 Gallonen (zu je ca. 4 Litern) verkauft.

v 22. April 1891 ging das Rezept und die damit verbundenen Rechte fьr Coca-Cola fьr nur 2300 Dollar an Asa G Candler.

Zur der Zeit wurden 79 324 Liter in einem Jahr verkauft.

1892 grьndete Candler in Atlanta die Coca-Cola Company (seit 22. Februar 1892 ist Coca-Cola eine Aktiengesellschaft). Bisher wurde das Coca - Cola Konzentrat an die einzelnen Lokale geliefert.

v Ende 19.Jhdt. war Coca Cola das beliebteste Getrдnk in den USA.

v 1899 wurde Candler ьberzeugt das Getrдnk in Flaschen abzufьllen. Das Problem war das jede Abfьllstation eigene Flaschen hatte. Die Lцsung kam 1915 als Alexander Samuelson die Standard Flasche fьr alle Abfьllanlagen entwarf.

v 1921 wurden die Rechte fьr 25 Mio. Dollar an eine amerikanische Bankvereinigung unter dem Vorsitz von Ernst Woodruff verkauft.

v 1923 ьbernahm sein Sohn Robert Woodruff die Prдsidentschaft der Coca-Cola Company. Er war ein brillanter Geschдftsmann der neue Ideen hatte und Coca Cola unbedingt in der ganzen Welt vermarkten wollte. Nach dem 2.Weltkrieg hatte er den Durchbruch geschafft. Danach gab es kaum noch Lдnder wo es kein Coca Cola gab. Die von den Amerikanern in den verschiedenen Lдndern installierten Abfьllanlagen wurden von den regionalen Gesellschaften ьbernommen und von diesen selbststдndig betrieben.

v 1929: Erste Coca-Cola Abfьllung in Цsterreich durch die Firma Ganahl. Im selben Jahr traten einige junge Deutsche in die Dienste der TCCC [3] ein - unter ihnen Paul Wolfgang Kцnig. Ihre Aufgabe war es nach einer umfangreichen Einschulung in Kanada ein neues Getrдnk in Deutschland/Цsterreich einzufьhren.

v 1953 grьndete Paul Wolfgang Kцnig die erste Coca-Cola Abfьllanlage nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg in Lambach/OЦ. Jedoch war am Anfang lediglich die Versorgung der Armee vorgesehen. Im ersten Jahr konnten 2.681 Kisten verkauft werden. Nach Lambach folgten Linz und schlieЯlich durch andere Konzessionдre auch Wien, Graz, St. Pцlten, Pottendorf, Salzburg, Mцdling, Bregenz Innsbruck, etc

v Heute ist c tatsдchlich das beliebteste Erfrischungsgetrдnk auf der ganzen Welt.

v Dies ist noch lange nicht das Ende einer Erfolgsstory, die bis heute noch niemand nachahmen konnte.

Ш Inhaltsstoffe

Wenn man heutzutage auf eine Cola Flasche schaut sieht man hinten die Zutaten:

Als Asa G Candler damit begann, den Sirup in groЯen Mengen zu produzieren, nummerierte er die Zutaten nach einem bestimmten System:

2. Caramel (zustдndig fьr die braune Farbe)

4. Phosphorsдure ( а E338)

5. Gemisch aus dem Extrakt des Coca - Blattes und der Kola Nuss versetzt mit 20% Alkohol

6. Limonensaft (Heute nicht mehr verwendet)

9. Vanille Extrakt

Die Zutat Nummer Sieben genannt: "Merchandise No. 7X": in einem alten blauen Briefumschlag mit einem Siegel verschlossen wird es in einem Stahltresor der Trust Company von Georgia gelagert. Speziell mit einer roten Fahne versehen, welche eine 'besondere Behandlung' markiert. Niemand darf ohne ausdrьckliche Erlaubnis des Direktoriums Zugang zu der Formel haben. Auch wenn diese Erlaubnis gegeben wird, mьssen der Vorsitzende und der Prдsident der Company dabei sein. AuЯerdem wird in den Geschдftsvorschriften der Company ausdrьcklich verlangt, dass hцchstens zwei Angehцrige des Unternehmens Kenntnis von der Formel haben, deren Identitдt niemals preisgegeben werden darf! Diesen beiden Firmenangehцrigen ist es unter keinen Umstдnden erlaubt, gemeinsam in einem Flugzeug zu sitzen!

Doch was ist nun diese 'Merchandise No. 7X'? - Der Autor des Buches 'Fьr Gott, Vaterland und Coca-Cola', Mark Pendergrast, wurde in einem Bьchlein, in dem Pemberton kurz vor seinem Tod diverse Rezepte niedergeschrieben hatte, fьndig. Eine Seite ohne Titel, nur bezeichnet mit einem groЯen 'X' enthielt das Geheimnis der Coca-Cola-Formel.
