Klo klippning
Hunden behöver vänja sig vid att få sina klor klippta redan som valp, det är bättre att klippa ofta och lite, än sällan och mycket. Skulle du glömma att klippa klorna så kan då bli krokiga. Hunden får då svårt att gå och i värsta fall växer det in i tassen/benet och börjar skava. Detta är vanligare bland katter men även bland hundar, speciellt eftersom det är lätt att glömma bort att klippa sporrarna. Det kan vara svårt att klippa om det har växt päls runt klon som du kan de här på bilden, det löser du lätt genom att klippa bort pälsen med en liten sax.
Sporre är en klo som sitter över alla andra klorna, den sitter alltså inte i tassen utan i benet. Därför är det lätt att glömma bort sporrarna, och eftersom de inte slits så kan de blir långa fort. Vanligast är att sporrarna endast finns på frambenen, men det finns en del hundar som även har på bakbenen. Vissa uppfödare klipper även av sporrarna vid 2-4 dagars ålder.
Ca en gång i veckan brukar vara lagom.
Efter att du har klippt klart så är det viktigt att du berömmer hunden, T.ex ge en godis bit efteråt. Då förknippar hunden klippningen med något bra efteråt.
En bra regel är att alltid följa klons egen vinkel när du klipper klon, du ska alltså inte vinkla klo tången mer eller mindre än vad klons vinkel är. Vinklar du fel kan klon börja växa fel.
Vinkla alltid klo tången så att "tänderna" klipper uppifrån & nerifrån
Du ska alltså inte klippa från sida till sida, då kan klon spricka.
I varje klo finns en pulpa, den syns på vissa klor som är ljusa, men mörkare klor kan man inte se pulpan i. Klipper man i pulpan gör det ont och börjar blöda, så är du osäker så klipp endast längst ut på klon tills att du är mer van. Även sporrarna har en pulpa.
Om du har råkat klippt i pulpan så hetsa inte upp dig, märker hunden att du är orolig och blir chockad så kommer hunden själv att få detta till en katastrofhändelse, och kan bli klo-rädd i framtiden. Ta det i stället lugnt, att klippa i pulpan händer alla ibland och det ser oftast värre ut än vad det är. Hunden kan skrika till lite men trösta då hunden inte hunden, det förvärrar allt. Om det blöder så lägg på ett papper och håll ett tag så kan det sluta blöda. För det mesta slutar det att blöda efter någon minut av sig själv, men annars finns det hjälpmedel du kan använda dig av.
Potatismjöl brukar stoppa blödandet fort
Majsmjöl går också bra
Nässpray kan också fungera, det drar ihop blodkärlen.
Aska från öppen spis/panna kan också fungera
IS kan du även hålla emot, om du inte har något annat.
Raknings stift Det finns stift som är till för rakning, det fungerar även att stoppa blodet, liknande finns på djuraffären men då kostar det mera.
Det är bra om hunden kan ligga still en liten stund efter att du har duttat på det du nu har valt att ha på den skadade klon, se till att vara med så inte hunden inte slickar i sig det bara. Har du haft problem att få stopp på blodet så kan du skydda pulpan lite ett 1-2 dagar så att det inte går upp varje gång du rastar hunden.
Skulle det inte sluta blöda så behöver du bränna pulpan hos veterinären.

What are the advantages?
The PONS Dictionary delivers the reliability of a dictionary which has been editorially reviewed and expanded over the course of decades. In addition, the Dictionary is now supplemented with millions of real-life translation examples from external sources. So, now you can see how a concept is translated in specific contexts. You can find the answers to questions like “Can you really say … in German?” And so, you will produce more stylistically sophisticated translations.
Where do the “Examples from the Internet” come from?
The “Examples from the Internet” do, in fact, come from the Internet. We are able to identify trustworthy translations with the aid of automated processes. The main sources we used are professionally translated company, and academic, websites. In addition, we have included websites of international organizations such as the European Union. Because of the overwhelming data volume, it has not been possible to carry out a manual editorial check on all of these documents. So, we logically cannot guarantee the quality of each and every translation. This is why they are marked “not verified by PONS editors”.
What are our future plans?
We are working on continually optimizing the quality of our usage examples by improving their relevance as well as the translations. In addition, we have begun to apply this technology to further languages in order to build up usage-example databases for other language pairs. We also aim to integrate these usage examples into our mobile applications (mobile website, apps) as quickly as possible.

Generellt sett ska tiken ha uppnått ca 85% av sin slutliga kroppsvikt innan hon är redo för sitt första löp.

Förlöpet varar i genomsnitt i 9 dagar men kan variera på 4-16 dagar.
Under denna period bildas äggblåsor på äggstockarna. Äggblåsorna innehåller de ägg som släpps vid ägglossningen och producerar löphormonet östrogen.
Hon dricker mycket och kissar oftare än vanligt.
Blir väldigt svullen där bak (vulvan).
Tiken förändras ofta i humöret, blir rastlös och okoncentrerad.
Blödningen avtar gradvis och färgen övergår till att bli mer halmgul än röd.
En del tikar kan fortsätta att blöda även under höglöpet men det är inget att oroa sig över.
Tiken är fortfarande svullen i vulvan men betydligt mjukare än under förlöpet.
Ett bra sätt att kontrollera om tiken är i höglöpet är att försiktigt stryka henne över baken och runt svansroten. Är hon då villig att paras kommer hon att föra svansen åt sidan och höja upp baken. Om du planerar för valpar och har utsett en hanhund är det inte säkert att din tik släpper till honom fast hon är i höglöp, hon har också en egen vilja i att bestämma "rätt" partner. Enligt lag är det inte tillåtet att tvångspara hundar, vilket dock tyvärr förekommer!
Sedan går vi vidare till efterlöpet.
Efterlöpet inträder när tiken inte längre är parningsvillig. Perioden varar i cirka 2 månader om tiken är dräktig, annat fall något längre. Hos dräktiga tikar utvecklas fostren under den här tiden och perioden avslutas med att tiken får valpar.
Under efterlöpet är dräktighetshormonet progesteron högt även om tiken inte är dräktig. Det innebär att tikar som inte är parade ändå kan uppträda som om de är dräktiga och visa tydliga dräktighetssymtom (skendräktighet).
Det finns tikar som aldrig börjar löpa eller upphör att löpa efter att ha löpt på ett normalt sätt. Orsakerna kan vara många till exempel nedsatt sköldkörtelfunktion. sjukliga förändringar, missbildade könsorgan, extrem utfodring eller extremt hårt arbete.
Vissa tikar kan löpa utan att blöda eller blöda så lite att det inte märks. När de är i höglöp parar de sig ändå med hanen precis som vanligt.
En del tikar kan dela upp sin löpning i två avgränsande perioder.(Split östrus).
Det innebär att hon har ett förlöp då hon börjar blöda och visar andra typiska tecken på att löpa, men att hon slutar tvärt efter några dagar för att efter några veckor senare åter sätta igång.Då har hon ett helt normalt löp.
Med förlängd löpning menas att tikarna blöder längre än vad som kan anses vara normalt. Hos unga tikar kan ibland det första löpet vara förlängt eftersom de inte har någon ägglossning. Vid utebliven ägglossning fortsätter äggblåsorna på äggstockarna att producera löphormonet östrogen under en längre tid.

Den dominerande bakterien som uppträder i dessa sammanhang är Escherichia coli , vilket är en vanlig tarmbakterie.

So ein blöder Hund!

Gut dass er wieder aufgetaucht ist, wir haben ja nur Katzen die "poschen" von alleine ab, kommen aber auch von alleine wieder zurück ;-)
auftauchen ist nicht, den muss man suchen fahren :(
